Who's behind it

Hi, I'm Kane. Fullbuy started with a question I could not answer for myself: how much is my own inventory actually worth? I had been adding skins to it for years, and every time I wanted a real number I ended up pasting market prices into a spreadsheet, one item at a time. Eventually I gave up on the spreadsheet and built the tool I wished already existed, and Fullbuy is what came out of it.

I have been playing Counter-Strike for over twenty years, going back to the Source days, through CS:GO and now CS2. Skins came along later, in the CS:GO era, and have been a big part of the game for me ever since; like a lot of players I ended up with an inventory I cared about but had never really put a proper number on. Solving that for myself turned into solving it for everyone.

Fullbuy is my way of giving something back to a community I have been part of for a long time. It is an independent project that I build and run in my spare time, not a company or a team. Almost every feature exists because a player asked for it or because I wanted it myself, and it keeps growing from there.

What Fullbuy does

At its core, Fullbuy turns a public Steam inventory into a clear, itemised valuation. It loads the CS2 items in an inventory, matches each one to current market pricing, and totals everything up, including the extras that are easy to overlook like applied stickers and charms.

You can look up any public inventory without signing in. Sign in with Steam and you unlock tools for your own inventory: value history over time, friend comparisons, automatic daily refreshes and more.

How it works

1. Enter a Steam ID or vanity URL. Fullbuy resolves it to a Steam account and loads that account's public CS2 inventory.

2. Items are priced. Each item is matched to its current market price, and special cases like skin float (wear), Doppler phases and applied stickers are taken into account where possible.

3. You get a full breakdown. A running total plus a per-item view, so you can sort, filter and see exactly where the value sits.

Where the prices come from

Prices are sourced from third-party market data and refreshed regularly. Skin values move constantly, and different marketplaces price the same item slightly differently, so every figure on Fullbuy is a good-faith estimate rather than a guaranteed sale price.

Some items carry value beyond their base skin: a low float, a rare Doppler phase, or expensive stickers. Fullbuy accounts for many of these, though not every rare pattern is tracked yet, and improving that is an ongoing project. There is more detail in the FAQ.

How Fullbuy stays free

Looking up an inventory is free, and it always will be. Running the site does cost money (hosting, storage, bandwidth and pricing data), so it is supported by optional donations. Players who chip in get a spot on the Supporter Wall.
